wow your guy looks cool im a wood elf i may start again and change lol
i got the game today and ive been playing it for about 2 hours and its amazing! i got out the sewers and when to that stone place and found out that, thats no the right way to go lol and now im just wondering around the city
how do u travel about because walking can be a pain in the a**
i did see a add on for the game forgotten the name but i didnt buy it i just got oblivion
the add on is "Knights of the nine" i bought that as well adds few side mission to the game also you can get armor for your horse, plus some other things.
wood elf is not bad, depends really on what type of gameplay you like.
i just know that Nords and Orcs are specially good for combat, think wood elfs are more magic and Marksman (bow & arrow) kinda char
Also take a quick look on your major skills, as if you want to advance in level to get better enemies and alot better wepons you need to level up your major skills, and to do that you need to use them alot, like if you have blade as one of your major skills using blade will make the skill level up, and when you have level any of your major skills 10 times you will level up by sleeping.
I would just reccomend playing the game for few hours get a the sort of feel of what type of character you are and what types of weapons and magic you like to use..
But congratz on getting oblivion man, you wont regret buying it
P.S To fast travel, go to your inventory and select your map, the bigger scale so you can see all of cyrodill, then just press any of locations on the map. Although you cant travel to place you havnt found except city's so if you want to get to some cave or something you will have to walk or run there travel by horse if you have one. There are absolutely 1000's of places to find in oblivion, so just exploring on foot is the best way to discover all the caves, fort ruins and all those stuffs. but it can be a pain in the a** like you said.
